Most of our products are made to order, occasionally we will have a few in-stock items that would be listed for purchase under the "In-Stock" section. In stock items are packaged and shipped within a few business days. Turnaround times for a standard build is 4-6 weeks, custom orders can take up to 10-12 weeks to design and build. If you have any concerns of whether or not your order will arrive on time, don't hesitate to call us @ 706-234-6701.
Items are shipped in boxes or on pallets and delivered curbside. Some deliveries are made via full sized semi-trucks. The driver's obligations are limited to curbside deliveries. This means it is your responsibility to get the item inside and unpack it, as well as assemble it if needed. Our items are quite heavy, please have some extra help to get it where it needs to go. If you have any concerns or need to know the weight of an item, call us @ 706-234-6701. If there are special requirements or challenges, inform us before placing an order.
Please inspect your items immediately, BEFORE signing for the shipment. If there is any damage present, note it on the delivery slip before signing it. In the rare case that the item is damaged in transit by the third-party freight company, a claim will be filed, and we will ship a replacement at no charge to you, but only if the damage is noted on the slip before signing. Once the slip is signed, The Fairbanks Company assumes no responsibility for damage found after delivery.
NOTE: Items cannot be refused upon delivery because it doesn't fit in building/home.
Local Pickup
Available at no charge from our Rome, Ga. facility. We are not responsible for any items once they leave our facility. Please make sure to have adequate protection upon arrival.
Returns and Refunds
In stock (non-custom) items can be returned within 60 days for a 30% restocking fee, plus the cost of shipping. You (the customer) are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back. A refund will only be issued if the item is in like-new condition, with no wear and tear, or damage. Refunds, if deemed appropriate, may only be issued back onto the card you used to pay for the item originally.
Before returning any product, please contact us for a return authorization. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. We want every client to be satisfied with their purchase, however, custom items are non-refundable.
Cancellations
All canceled orders are subject to a cancellation fee. Orders cancelled up to 7 days before the estimated ship date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. Orders cancelled 7 days or less before the estimated ship date will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production begins.
